MAKAI was created to bring together four existing identities under one unified coastal brand. The project encompassed brand strategy, visual identity, print design, signage, vehicle graphics, content creation and social media management, creating a consistent experience across every customer touchpoint.

Meaning “towards the ocean”, MAKAI reflects a shared passion for surfing, paddle sports, coasteering and coastal adventure. Inspired by Cornwall’s rugged coastline, the identity captures the energy, wellbeing and sense of exploration at the heart of the brand, while creating a strong foundation for future growth.
